The Wen Corporation has been in business since 1951 and has built its reputation on creating and producing power tools.
The original focus of the Wen Company was woodworking tools and in their words, “to help artisans around the world”.
Today their product lineup includes a full bevy of woodworking tools as air compressors, generators, snow throwers, and Generators.
Based on the available information that I can find, these units are manufactured in China. But WENS main headquarters is in Elgin, Illinois

I have noticed that a lot of Chinese generators are for sale at very low prices. Some of these generators have Honda clone engines (GX200) and produce 3,000 watts of power (25 amps @120 volts).
Did you know that there are only 4 of the major Chinese engine manufacturers that make these engines under a license agreement with Honda? They all appear to be of very high quality.
A few of these generators even come with an automatic voltage regulation control board. So this makes the overall electronic quality of these generators to be very good as well.
I think that people here are forgetting that even though these products are made in China it does not make them bad.
Remember these products must meet safety standards and the codes and must be approved or would not be allowed in.
Two of the most modern and up to date cities in the world are Bejing and Shanghai China. They are also two of the fastest-growing they have modern plants, very good technology with state of the art production equipment.
Many plants are staffed with well-educated employees, have far lower wages so things cost far less there. I guess people here still love to kid themselves.
The largest emerging country on this planet with 1.5 billion in the population can do an awful lot more growing economically and otherwise.
Rather than a country that has 300 million in population. China is presently starting to live through the same growth as the post-second world war here.
Communism is going to the wayside with the peasants in favor of capitalism but this is beginning to be poorly hidden now by the Chinese government.
Believe what you want, continue to kid yourself if you wish, but the power, and economics are shifting elsewhere in today’s real world.
10 years from now we will be buying Chinese made automobiles replacing our Honda’s, Toyota’s, Hyundai’s, Kia’s, etc., We will also gladly be purchasing Chinese electronics, clothing, and mainstay goods, etc. etc. etc.
